I’m driving away from the greatest yeshiva on earth. I feel as though my flesh was torn while ripping myself from there. My soul wants to cry, but I am driving and the clouds are pouring down the tears for me.

Bais Menachem in Wilkes-Barre marked the completion of its 11th year on Yud Bais Tammuz with an awards banquet for students, and with the surprise participation of many alumni who drove down for the occasion. This occasion also celebrated the graduation of Wilkes-Barre's very first Smicha (rabbinic ordination) program.

The entire Bais Menachem Family would like to wish Binyomin Ringler, a past Shaliach of Bais Menachem, a hearty Mazal Tov on his engagement to Ety Klein of Monsey, New York. May the couple merit to celebrate their wedding b'sha'a tova, in a good and auspicious hour, and may they build a true, everlasting Jewish home on the foundations of Torah and Mitzvos. We are thrilled that Binyomin and Ety have decided to move to Kingston to join our community. We welcome them with open arms and wish them the best on their move.
Rabbi Zvi Perlman is currently taking orders for hand-baked Shmura Matzah for you Passover Seder. As in years past both American and foreign made Matzah are available. Please call for pricing per pound. A single pound contains approximately 6-7 Matzahs. Orders can be made by calling Rabbi Perlman directly at 570-283-1967.
As in years past, Bais Menachem will be hosting Pesach Seders open to the community. There will be a Seder held at the Yeshiva as well as Seders at Temple Apartments and the Monroe Street Apartments. The Seder at Monrow Street will be geared for the Russian speaking members of the Jewish community.
