Post-Pesach News
This year, Bais Menachem ran four Pesach seders in various location, with more than 100 participants in all. In keeping with the Chassidc custom initiated by the founder of Chassidism, Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov, the last day of pesach brought many members of the community together for Moshiach's Seudah, a meal celebrating the imminent arrival of Moshiach. Moshiach's seudah is celebrated with Matzah and four cups of wine, as we look to transition from the exodus from Egypt and all that it represents to the ultimate future redemption, may it be speedily in our days.
Thanks to Rabbis Zvi and Suri Perlman, and Rabbi Pinny Levitin for hosting these meals to mark the close of the Festival of our Freedom in a way which can help us all continue to taste true freedom throughout the year.
